Opportunities
We connect young Africans with verified grants, scholarships, fellowships, jobs, internships, accelerators, competitions and sustainability programs sourced from universities, NGOs, foundations, companies and government organizations.
Verified opportunities, practical skills and mentorship — brought together in one place.
A community that stays with you past the deadline, not just until you apply.
Our vision is to positively impact 10 million young Africans by 2040 — connecting them to the opportunities, skills and mentorship they need to build their futures.
Every student, graduate, job seeker, young professional and founder we reach moves us closer to that number — not as a target for its own sake, but as 10 million real, individual paths opened.
From a first opportunity to a thriving career or business, Mentors for Africa exists to make that number real, one person at a time, across every country we reach.
The Mentors for Africa methodology consists of designing, training and mentoring. Programs are adapted to the objectives of each project, the needs of the participating country, relevant industries and expected outcomes.
We connect young Africans with verified grants, scholarships, fellowships, jobs, internships, accelerators, competitions and sustainability programs sourced from universities, NGOs, foundations, companies and government organizations.
We provide educational content, webinars, partner sessions and training programs focused on career development, employability, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, leadership and sustainability.
Mentors for Africa may evaluate business ideas and existing businesses, review business models, support the preparation of business and financial plans, and help entrepreneurs identify relevant funding partners, professional networks and international market opportunities.
Mentors for Africa is designed for young Africans aged 18–30 who are ready to learn, grow and create meaningful change. We support students and recent graduates, aspiring entrepreneurs, new and early-stage founders, women pursuing professional or entrepreneurial opportunities, junior talent and people with disabilities.
Whether participants are developing their first idea, building a new venture, searching for educational or career opportunities or strengthening their professional skills, Mentors for Africa connects them with the knowledge, mentorship, networks and support they need to move forward.
Founders, mentors and partners talk about their experience with Mentors for Africa — straight from the source.
